Dr. Yona Silverman is a psychotherapist and psychopharmacologist in private practice in Brooklyn, NY. She is board-certified in both Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, having completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and residency and fellowship at New York University. She was previously Medical Director of the NYU Medical Student and House Staff Mental Health Clinic, where she treated physicians in various stages of training.
Yona is a warm, insightful, engaged clinician with a deep appreciation for the mysteries of existence, both big and small. She sees adolescents and adults for therapy, using medication augmentation as appropriate. She also works closely with therapists to manage medication for children, adolescents, and adults. She is currently in analytic training as well as training in group psychotherapy.
